International Outreach

In a world that has increasingly become global, Christ Presbyterian Church is reaching out in a new direction by serving internationals living, working and studying in Madison. We have launched an Outreach to internationals ministry which welcomes, befriends and promotes cross-cultural and mutual understanding between Americans and internationals. Our programs are designed to help internationals to experience American culture, make significant friendship and adjust to life in the US. Our programs include English conversation partnership, friendship partner, Bible study, international potluck, international cooking time, movie nights, live projection of international sport events, soccer, volley ball, and basket ball practice, temporary hosting, and Thanksgiving hospitality.

We have a strong partnership with organizations and institutions serving internationals in Madison such as the International Student Services at UW, Wisconsin English as Second Language Institute (WESLI), Madison English as Second Language School (MESLS), the Centro Hispano, Madison Friends of International Students (MFIS), and the African Association in Madison.
